Useful tips for a carefree move
- Make sure that you have enough packing material and boxes.
- Pack fragile items with extra care and mention the content on the boxes.
- Clear parking space for our vehicle and elevator. File a request for parking signs at your local police station
8 working days in advance and take care of the necessary payment (see list below).
- Make sure that your electricity, water, gas, TV distribution and phone are disconnected or transferred to the next owner and make sure that all the necessary connections are made at your new address.
- Notify your insurance company, your health insurance fund, your bank, your employer of your change of address. Also inform the associations and clubs of which you are a member.
- Have your identity card and driver’s licence updated.
- The postal office can arrange to have your mail forwarded for a certain period after your move.
